Ganesh Jayanti or Maghi Utsav is celebrated on the Shukla Paksha Chathurthi in Magh month of the Indian calander. Usually Maghi Ganeshotsav falls in January or February months every year.
It is celebrated with the same traditional way similar to Ganesha chaturthi. Jayanti (birth day) of Ganesha mostly celebrated in regions of Maharashtra. People do bring Ganesha idols to their homes, carry every day rituals like pooja, aarti, prasad for lord ganesha. Immerssion in the water is carried similar to Ganesha chaturthi days count.
