Maghi Ganpati Jayanti or Maghi Utsav is celebrated on the Shukla Paksha Chaturthi in Magh month of the Indian calander. Usually Maghi Ganeshotsav falls in January or February months every year.
It is celebrated with the same traditional way similar to Ganesh Chaturthi. Jayanti (birth day) of Ganesh mostly celebrated in regions of Maharashtra. People do bring Ganesha idols to their homes, carry every day rituals like pooja, aarti, prasad for lord Ganesh. Immersion in the water is carried similar to Ganesh Chaturthi days count.
